PRINCESS ANNE, Md. --Ackeem Smith and Lenora Guion-Firmin both ran in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) East Preliminary Round and the NCAA Championships for the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. Their performance during the outdoor season earned them recognition by the United States Track and Field Cross Country Coaches Association. Smith received recognition in the 110-meter hurdles as an USTFCCCA Honorable Mention, while Guion-Firmin was awarded USTFCCCA All-America First Team honors.
