The FAMU men's track team topped the MEAC in the Distance Medley Relay, and made way with a solid performance in the 4x400m relay. The team's new athletes are beginning to work in unison with the team.

Troy Pollard and Elias Cheshire led the Rattlers at the Gator invite at the O'Connell Center on the campus of the University of Florida. Pollard won the 400m dash, while Cheshire won the mile run.

Rattlers look to compete in the Gator Invitational on Thurs., in Gainesville. Coach Wayne Angel is looking to solidify his qualifiers for the 2013 MEAC Indoor Track Championships, Feb.14-16.

The Robert "Pete" Griffin Track was closed today for renovations. Among the improvements will be a new running surface and upgrades to current equipment. The FAMU Relays will not be held this year.

FAMU distance runners Kevin Marindich and Robyel Kidane, paced the Rattlers in the Ed Temple Classic. Marindich took first place in the mile run, while Kidane got the win in the 3000m run.
