Nakia Linson put on a showcase of her talents, leading the Lady Rattlers to one of the season's most impressive performances in the FSU Seminole Invitational at the Mike Long Track Complex.

FAMU sprinter and jumper Nakia Linson earned MEAC athlete of the week for her performance int he 100m dash and second place as a member of the 4x100m relay team in the Georgia Relays.

The FAMU Lady Rattlers took second place in the 4x100m relays and used that energy to take several top 10 finishes in the FSU Relays at the Mike Long Track Complex.

The FAMU lady Rattlers performed well in their first full outdoor meet of the season. They competed in the Georgia Relays, highlighted by sprinter Nakia Linson taking second place in the 100m dash.

The FAMU Lady Rattlers took several top finishes in the UNF Spring Break Meet presented by Radisson. The Lady Rattlers were led by Dynasty Jones, Jasmine Smith and Nakia Linson.

The FAMU LAdy Rattlers missed third place by .50 points, but closed the gap to the number three position at the MEAC Indoor Track Championships in Landover, MD this weekend.

After two days of competition, the FAMU Lady Rattlers sit at fifth place in the 2013 MEAC Indoor Track Championships, held in Price George S&L Complex in Princess Anne, MD.

The FAMU Lady Rattlers are preparing for the 2013 MEAC Indoor Championship by sharpening their skills in meets leading up to the championship. Triple jumper Ashley Ivey took first place in the MEAC.

FAMU indoor track and field athlete Kinnesha Jones edged her teammate, Ashley Ivey, for the top mark in the triple jump at the Clemson Tiger Challenge this weekend on the campus of Clemson University.

The Robert "Pete" Griffin Track was closed today for renovations. Among the improvements will be a new running surface and upgrades to current equipment. The FAMU Relays will not be held this year.
