The Coppin State men's track and field team got winning performances from Jeremey Dorsey, Fabian Hayles, Shane Green and Michael James at the Navy Invitational Saturday morning at the Wesley A. Brown Fieldhouse.

Maryland Eastern Shore's Khalil Rmidi Kinini and Hampton's Le'Quisha Parker were chosen as the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Men's and Women's Track Athletes of the Week.

Shane Green had the best leap of Division I entrants in the long jump at the Father Diamond Invitational at George Mason University Saturday afternoon. Green's effort led the Eagles in their return to the track for the first time in over a month.
