Bethune-Cookman's Tremayne Banks and Maryland Eastern Shore's Gayon Evans were chosen as the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Men's and Women's Track Athletes of the Week.

The Hampton University men's and women's track & field teams competed in a pair of meets this past weekend, taking part in the Florida Relays at the Percy Beard Track and the Colonial Relays at the College of William & Mary.

In the annual Tiger Twilight, hosted by Savannah State at T.A. Wright Stadium, the men's outdoor track and field team dominated the hurdles and relay events, while the Lady Tigers garnered several top finishes.

Hampton's Chidi Okezie and Breana Norman were chosen as the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Men's and Women's Track Athletes of the Week.

The Morgan State women's track and field team was amongst the 114 NCAA Division I, II and III schools which competed over the weekend at the Raleigh Relays, hosted by North Carolina State.
