Shane Green and Coppin State head men's track and field coach made a deal with each other prior to the start of the Terrapin Invitational hosted by the University of Maryland Saturday.

Hampton University Director of Track & Field Maurice Pierce has been named Head Men's Coach as part of the U.S. Track & Field National Team for the 2014 NACAC Under-23 Championships, it was announced on Thursday.

Hampton's Chidi Okezie and Breana Norman were chosen as the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Men's and Women's Track Athletes of the Week.

The Wildcats track & field squad opened the 2014 indoor season on a strong note, despite a limited traveling squad, notching 11 top-three finishes at the South Carolina Indoor Open #1 meet, Saturday.
